Benteng G.Kunci ini merupakan sebuah bangunan pertahanan yang dibuat di atas sebuah gunung (bukit) yang menghadap langsung ke arah kota Sumedang. Dibangun sekitar tahun 1914-1917 oleh Pemerintah Kolonial Belanda pada masa Pemerintahan Bupati Sumedang Pangeran Aria Soeria Atmadja. Luasnya +/- 2600 m2.
